10 Most Famous Classical Composers of All Time

5. Debussy

Debussy or Achille-Claude Debussy was a French composer who set the first milestone of the modern classical music. In his era, Debussy was considered as a member of Avant Garde musician. He adopted Wagnerian style briefly, but during the rest of his unconventional career, he was inclined to reject aesthetic academism. After his Wagnerian phase, Debussy was interested with non-Western music, especially the Javanese gamelan, which he first heard during an exposition in Paris at 1889. For music enthusiasts today, Debussy leaves an image of an original composer, which is marked by imaginative works.
