4. The World’s Smallest Sculptures

Willard Wigan is a dyslexic sculptor from UK who had strong drive in sculpting due to ridicules he received during childhood for his poor reading skill. In the celebration of 1969 lunar landing, Wigan carved a statue of Buzz Aldrin. He also created a 0.0005mm tall replica of FIFA World Cup trophy and many of his other works can only be appreciated well using microscope. Wigan works 18 hours per day in a meditative state, where he consciously slows down his heart beat to allow him work better between pulses.
