Max Cohen is a computer and mathematician expert who is plagued regularly by terrible headaches after he stared at the sun during childhood. He can’t handle normal social relationships and lived behind tightly locked room somewhere in Manhattan. His only contacts are only a friend who enthusiastically wants to rediscover long-lost mathematical mysteries in Torah and an aging professor. Cohen’s obsessions are the dynamics of stock market and his calculations attract some major Wall Street traders. With its strongly developed characters and intricate storyline, Pi seems to transport the audience into a bizarre, compelling, intense and eerie world with its mysterious familiarity.
